Wayfayrer, the number one choice of real food dishes for the great outdoors are also the top choice for use in expeditions. Since Wayfayrer was launched, the company has supported many charitable events and expeditions and 2008 has been no exception.

Wayfayrer has been chosen once more as the official food supplier of the G4 Land Rover Challenge, after proving very popular during the inaugural 2003 event. Wayfayrer was supplied to all contestants throughout the competition over several continents.

Other expeditions that Wayfayrer has supported include:

• Sevenstar Around Britain and Ireland – an all female sailing challenge to raise funds for the Sail 4 Cancer charity.
• Winter 284 – A one-man non-stop trek of all the 284 Scottish Munros, throughout the winter months.
• One Woman, One Boat – A single woman’s enactment of her “absolute solitude” trip across the Atlantic.
• Caledonian Challenge - A 54 mile walk over part of the Highland Way in Scotland, there are over 1,500 walkers who keep walking for 24 hours.
• Grin ‘n’ Bear It 2008 – Raising money for registered rescue teams, runners and walkers partake in either a 15 or 24 mile race across the Peak District.
